Choose from four different challenges
Teams compete against one another in a ‘triathlon like’ course, starting at Shelly Beach and finishing at Clontarf Beach Reserve. Our four challenges are below… which challenge will you choose?
GRAND PRIX DIVISION

2km swim / 10km walk / 5km run / 3km kayak
If you enjoy running and wish to push yourself even further - this challenge is for you. The difference between Grand Prix and Classic is that you can run part of the course.
- 2km swim Shelly Beach, Manly (500m sprint lap - nominated team swimmer, then 4 x 500m laps - each team member)
- Walk from Shelly Beach to Clontarf Beach
- Kayak from Clontarf Beach to Chinamans Beach
- Run from Chinamans Beach around Balmoral Oval and back
- Kayak from Chinamans Beach to Clontarf Beach and cross the finish line
CLASSIC DIVISION

2km swim / 15km walk / 3km kayak
Participants registered in the ‘Classic’ division must NOT run any part of the course.
- 2km swim Shelly Beach, Manly (500m sprint lap - nominated team swimmer, then 4 x 500m laps - each team member)
- Walk from Shelly Beach to Clontarf Beach
- Kayak from Clontarf Beach to Chinamans Beach
- Walk from Chinamans Beach around Balmoral Oval and back
- Kayak from Chinamans Beach to Clontarf Beach and cross the finish line
CLASSIC 500 DIVISION

500m swim / 15km walk / 3km kayak
Participants registered in the ‘Classic 500’ division must NOT run any part of the course.

- Walk from Shelly Beach to Clontarf Beach
- Kayak from Clontarf Beach to Chinamans Beach
- Walk from Chinamans Beach around Balmoral Oval and back

FAMILY DIVISION

500m swim / 10km walk
- 500m swim Shelly Beach, Manly (1 lap)
- Walk from Shelly Beach to Clontarf Beach
