20/twenty Challenge - Volunteer Expression of Interest

The 20/twenty Challenge is a fun event for both participants and volunteers.

To make this event a succes we need aproximately 50 volunteers.

We provide all volunteers with a 20/twenty Challenge volunteer shirt and a great lunch from Stella Blu at Clontarf Beach to finish off the morning with participants.

We have some fabulous roles for volunteers:

Set up/general support Team (10-15 people)

• Setting up and packing down the event -Shelly Beach
• Starting at 5:15am
• Assisting with participant registration
• Support at finish line - Clontarf Beach
• Time keeping

Checkpoints (2-3 people per checkpoint)

Checkpoints are located at North Harbour, Clontarf Beach, Chinaman's Beach, Corner of Stanton Rd & Burran Ave and Georges Heights

• set up and pack down checkpoint
• mark off participants as they pass your checkpoint
• pick up checkpoint equipment Friday prior to event
• Starting from 6.45am

Kayaks (approx 2-3 people)

• Support Manly Kayaks to assist participants safely into their kayaks with life vest at Clontarf Beach

Car Valet Team (approx 15 people)

• Shuttle drivers
• Transporting participant cars from Shelly Beach to Clontarf Reserve
• Full licence is required with good driving record
