Take Your Fundraising to the Next Level!

Hi there, fellow fundraiser!

My name is Peter Matthews, and I’m really thankful for your support. As a parent of a child living with a disability, I know first-hand just how much your fundraising can change lives.

Last year, our team raised close to $60,000. And today, I want to share a few tips that will help you raise more money for more children like mine.

  1. Make your story as personal as possible so your friends and family know just how much this cause means to you, and the life-changing impact their donation will have for children living with a disability.
  2. Go beyond Facebook by sharing your fundraising page via Instagram, LinkedIn and email. The more networks you share your story on, the more likely you’ll be able to crack your fundraising targets.
  3. Pick up the phone! I know it’s old fashioned, but there’s nothing quite like a phone call to get people engaged and ready to give.
  4. Consider hosting an auction with your team. Each year, we host a live and silent auction for donated items that are generously provided. This is always a lot of fun for everyone involved, and actually generates a large proportion of the funds raised for our team.

Good luck and thanks again!

Peter
